Activities for kids with Down Syndrome.. with a language barrier?

I am going off to Romania this summer for a mission trip and one of the things we are doing there is working with a new Down Syndrome's association that has formed in one of the churches. We are trying to plan some activities to do with the kids. I have been researching games that would be good to play, however many of them dont take into account the fact we wont be able to communicate that easily. Any ideas for how to plan activities for the kids would be very useful! Thanks :)
