Why do most Americans insults the Canadians almost frequently?

um im american and i think canadas alright.: ) oh and one of my friends did a free-choice english report on canada so i think she likes canada too so i dont know what your going on about, in fact all of the canadans ive ever met have ragged on america so do most canadans not like america?
