What do you honestly think and know about Romanians?

Romania was partially founded by "gypsies". Most of Western Europe's opinion is based long back when the Christian religion split into Catholic and Orthodox. It is similar to the Civil war here in America. I hear a southern accent and assume the person is dumb. It isn't true, but I have societal assumptions.
