What is your definition of Tough love? Have you ever been beaten as a kid?

Yea, im a firm believer of tough love, its the MAIN problem with our youth today because if you so much as touch em all sorts of sirens go off and thats why alot of em are spoiled brats. If i did something wrong when i was young i got beat good and proper and i turned out just fine, atleast i think so lol
