What is your opinion on people using technology to get smarter?

I think just because it is modern and new everyone thinks it is better. But the only thing you can use to become smarter is your brain! Our epidemic on using massive amounts of technology makes us think it is more capable of expanding the usage of our brain. It can help with research but it won't nessessarily aid you in becoming more successful and smart. Technology is not intelligence. What do you think?
