Chances of getting into top colleges?
I think when you come out of high school, you will be very successful with the schedule you have put together. I think you have legitimate shots at all of the schools (none of them are a shoo in though). With that being said, UMD is not a safety for anyone. It is probably one the most competitive and selective public universities in the U.S. There are few reasons, one being due to its convenient location near Washington D.C and the internship/job opportunities. I had a 3.94 and a 4.5 weighted GPA and was rejected by UMD, and I wasn't alone. UMD seems to reject even some of the kids with very good statistics. My friend who got a full ride to MIT also got rejected by UMD, just to give you an idea of how outrageously competitive UMD is.
